These tips below will help you to make the most of GardenPilot™ and provide you with an email address for help with your application and another to provide feedback to us. Making the Most of GardenPilot™:
GardenPilot™ mobile is built around 3 main tools: Browse, Search and Find It.
Browse allows the user to "window shop" through plant families, getting ideas for future garden projects, identifying plants and the information contained at the plant tag. Search is a very powerful tool, allowing you to find specific plants that you already have in mind or that have characteristics you are looking for.

*tip: On many of the pages within GardenPilot™, the information button at the top will provide much needed information on making the most of the page or section you are currently using. We highly recommend you familiarize yourself with the information provided.

Find It is a very unique tool of GardenPilot™. The staff at 10-20 Media, Inc. has years of gathered information about retailers, ready at your fingertips. Retailers are members of the 10-20 Media family and many have provided 10-20 Media with a list of plants that they sell. Find It not only locates retailers near you who may sell the plant you are looking for, but tell you specifically that a particular retailer(s) has registered that plant as one they sell. We recommend that you first contact the retailers who are registered as selling the specific plant, to make sure the plant is currently available. If Find It does not have a registered retailer in your area for the particular plant, it will recommend others nearby who may carry it. Again, we recommend you contact the retailer of choice to inquire about the plant. When you have located the particular retailer of choice, simply press on their name and you will see a full page listing where you can call with one touch, or touch the map location button to have immediate access to a map for driving.

Another feature available on GardenPilot™ version 1.0 is the Joe section. Joe Lamp'l brings seasoned experience and a unique ability to take complicated subjects and present them in a fresh, entertaining and easily understood style. Joe has provided GardenPilot™ with timely articles to make you a better gardener. Joe's unique understanding and style was quickly getting noticed and his first national television opportunity soon came knocking. For three years Joe hosted Fresh from the Garden on the DIY Network. There, he was responsible for maintaining a picture-perfect garden with the premise of taking vegetables from seed to harvest in a single episode. Eventually, with no other vegetables left to profile, the show retired production 52 successful episodes later! However, Joe didn’t miss a beat as his next opportunity for national television was waiting. He immediately stepped into his current role as host of GardenSMART on PBS television where he features spectacular gardens around the country and profiles the dedicated gardeners who nurture them. In addition, he is a frequent guest expert on shows such as The Today Show, Good Morning America and The Victory Garden.
